This California full-glass garage door is a popular option, and it has been used in many ways.

Some customers might want to have it between their covered deck and their dining room. Others might want to use it to separate two interior spaces. The Creation of the Project

In the example shown here, the customers wanted to have a unique door that would separate their three-season sunroom from their kitchen. They also wanted to ensure that it would be easy to pass food through the door.

But when I walked through the door at Middlesex Door Systems, I met a team of passionate people who took the time to listen to my weird ideas and transform them into technically smart, gorgeous reality.”

The size of a single garage door is 9’x7’and a double garage door is 16’x7’and these are often considered “standard”. However, there is no real standard, since there can be variances based on your needs. Each of the garage doors can be custom made to meet your measurements.

Garaga has residential doors that will be based on the size you need. This can vary substantially. They can go from 4 to 20 feet wide up to the nearest inch. They can also range from 6 to 12 feet high. The height increases by 1” or 3” increments.

The Technical Side of Things

• Model : California with a sleek black frame.
• Window : Clear window with tempered glass on each side.
• Hardware : Dura+ that has a torsion spring hidden away in a wooden box located above the door. It is not visible.
• Galvanized tracks and hinges : These have been finished using an enamel-based black paint. This provides a nice appearance.

Motorization in the Tiny Garage Door

This works just like a large garage door, and it can be operated using a garage door opener. This project used the LiftMaster 8500, and jackshaft opener. The opener can be installed next to the door.

The door opener is also neatly hidden in one of the cabinets.
